The Juniper Tree Retreat

A quiet place for ministry leaders to come away from the busyness of life and ministry to be with Jesus

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." Mark 6:31 (NIV)

After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone... Matthew 14:22-23

Ministry leaders are invited to use the Juniper Tree Retreat two ways:

First, an individual or a couple can come for a personal retreat. The Juniper Tree Retreat includes a living area, bedroom with a queen bed, kitchen and meeting area, and a bathroom which will all be available for your retreat. Come and stay a few hours or up to a few (two) weeks.

Second, small leadership groups of up to 6 people (elder boards, Sunday school teams, co-workers in ministry, etc...) are invited to use the kitchen and meeting area as a space for prayer, praise and planning meetings.

These rooms are available at no charge to Central California Christian leaders so they can rest, be renewed and spend time in study and prayer in a quiet place away from the normal distractions found in our homes and at our churches. You are invited to take a few hours or a few days out of the hustle and bustle of your life and ministry to be alone with our God. There is no phone, no TV, no Internet, but lots of peace and quiet in this tranquil space.
