RESTORATION & PERSONAL GROWTH PROGRAM
Designed specifically for missionaries and pastors, the Restoration & Personal Growth Program provides a safe place to process challenges such as ministry burnout, marital distress, cross-cultural adjustment, career concerns, grief and loss, and family transitions.
Program Highlights
A unique treatment program is created for each applicant.
Pastoral Counseling and/or Counseling services for individuals, married couples, and family counseling are available as needed.
Separate Men's and Women's groups. This is an opportunity to interact with participants for commonality, support and healing that comes from engagement with others.
While talk therapy is extremely valuable, having opportunities for movement, exercise, and activity are vital parts of the healing process. Link Care has partnered with two local organizations that offer such opportunities.
The River Adventure Club for Kids (TRACK) is a program for children ages 5-12. TRACK provides children the opportunity to engage in fun activities designed to meet the needs of Third Culture Kids and children of full-time ministers. For younger children, we will provide a list local childcare options. All resources are outside of Link Care and parents are responsible to secure childcare.
A chance to be with other missionaries and pastors on campus.

FAQ
Yes. However, it is important to note that most of our therapists are out of network providers. We are not able to provide in-network therapists for individuals in the Restoration and Personal Growth program. Also, it is important to understand that your insurance only covers clinical sessions and in some cases testing. Most of our services and fees are not covered under your health plan.
No. We do not provide on-site childcare. If you are in need of childcare during your time at Link Care, we discuss how to meet this need during the application process.
There really isn’t a typical day in the program, since there is not a set format that include seminars. We seek to schedule your sessions with various counselors throughout the week, but you may find that you have 2-3 sessions in one day and none on another day. You are given your first week’s schedule upon arrival.
No. Link Care does not allow pets.
Trust is built with each person/couple/family unit and their therapist. In fact, with having separate therapists for each person and couple/family unit, trust is built easier. For example, if one of the child's therapist is also the family therapist, the members of the family who are not that child may feel at some point that the therapist is favoring their client (even if the therapist is not doing so - it could feel that way) and impede full trust in the therapist's ability to remain impartial. The same goes for each member having their own therapist - it helps clients feel that there is not crossover and thus more secure privacy for the information they share with their therapist.
We work to make sure missionaries/global workers from the same agency/country are not at Link Care at the same time.
Yes. The RPG Program specifically ministers to pastors and missionaries who have encountered difficulties while in ministry.
